[ARCHIVED] Sheriffs Address Election Security

Arizona Sheriffs Association Since 1968 Shield

An Open Letter: Election Integrity

As your elected Arizona Sheriffs, we are here to listen to and represent our citizens as it pertains to protecting their rights, ensuring their safety, and enforcing State Laws.

We have heard the concerns of our community members regarding election integrity, and we would like to take this opportunity to reinforce our commitment to upholding the rule of law here in Arizona.

We the Arizona Sheriffs support election integrity and will always fight for the rule of law. When it comes to the sanctity and security of our elections, we would like to remind everyone that there are laws in place meant to protect this right. It is our promise to ensure that all citizens, regardless of political belief, are both protected by and are expected to follow these statutes put in place by our great State of Arizona.  Those who break these laws can and will be held accountable. We are committed to making sure our elections are safe and secure.

If you have questions about election laws, please call your local Sheriff’s Office or review the Secretary of State’s Arizona Elections Procedures Manual as approved by the Governor and Attorney General.
